The Annual Mighty Mo Photo Exhibit is an area photo competition designed to encourage and recognize the talents of area photographers. Each year a different theme is chosen, and photographers must submit photos that they believe represent that theme. This exhibit is set to coincide with the Yankton Riverboat Days celebration each year. It has become one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, with the public getting to vote for the People's Choice award. The exhibit is also officially judged with the winner taking home a $100 cash prize and $50 to the honorable mention. Photographers of all experience and age levels are invited to participate.

2026 Exhibit

The 2026 Mighty Mo Photo Exhibit theme, "The Art of Nature" invites artists to discover and interpret the beauty that surrounds us in the natural world. We are excited to see how each artist captures the textures, patterns, light, and quiet wonder found in landscapes, wildlife, and the small details often overlooked, whether it's the sweep of a prairie horizon, the intricate design of a single leaf, or the ever-changing moods of river and sky. With the theme open to interpretation, we anticipate a diverse and captivating collection of work that reflects the artists' perspectives and their connection to the world outdoors. This exhibit is always a highlight of the year, and we can't wait to see the creativity unfold!.
